In summer, enjoy everything that nature in the Austrian Alps has to offer. You can choose from numerous hiking and cycling routes. You can also reach the lakes of Carinthia in a very short time, with water temperatures of 25 degrees and more in summer. The park itself also has a swimming pond where you can relax. The children are sure to have fun in the water playground! Want to explore the surrounding area? The Nockalmstraße is one of the most beautiful alpine touring routes Austria has to offer and starts a 15min drive from the park. But a trip to Villach or Klagenfurt, for example, can also be reached within an hour. And with just over 2 hours' drive you can be on the Italian coast!
St Oswald itself is a small and lovely Austrian Alpine village with 2 restaurants. At the park you will also find a restaurant with a small shop. With 5min drive you are in Bad Kleinkirchheim where you will find many restaurants, shops and cafés. Here you can also get your daily groceries. In addition, there are 2 thermal spas where you can enjoy the thermal water but also saunas or a massage. The nearest airport is Klagenfurt (60km), but Ljubjlana (130km) or Venice (275km) are also easily accessible.
The holiday apartment is located in one of the farmhouses on the park. It was built in 1980 with original materials and has been undergoing ongoing renovation for a few years. Thus, the park is equipped with fibreglass for an optimal internet connection, the chalets are connected to the Nahwärme (an efficient and economical way of heating), all kitchens have recently been replaced and a new water playground for children has been created. Each flat has a lovely warm kachelofen that you will certainly enjoy after a day in the open air. The property is offered for sale fully furnished. A parking space is also included in the purchase price.
