In summer Unken is a location as on a postcard. With wide spread alpine meadows and plenty of mountain sports it is an attractive destiantion for many people. There is a good network of walking-, cycling- and mountainbiketracks such as there are possibilities for mountain climbing, rafting, canoing, visiting one of Austria´s gorges or one of the many waterfalls or rivers in the surroundings. Due to its location near Salzburg a cultural or shopping day is also within reach. There are good flying connections from Salzburg to several brittish cities.

This holiday property was built in 1986 in a traditional Austrian style. The house has a lot of wooden details providing the austrian feeling. The wooden floorings, the ceilings, the kitchen, the dining area and the doors all show the country living style. Furthermore, there are 2 Austrian stoves in the living room and in the kitchen spreading wunderful radiant heat which are especially enjoyable after a long day out in the winter. The house has 5 bedrooms in total with each an own bathrooms. This makes the property also suitable to be used as a small bed and breakfast.

In the basement you will find an Austrian bar, one of the many secrets of this property. There is also a sauna with own shower. The large garden shows you fantastic views over the Heutal.
