These new build 2-room apartments are located at the town edge of the sunny and lively Tamsweg. Tamsweg has 10,000 inhabitants and is the regional main city of the Lungau, in the south of Salzburg. Due to its location south of the High Tauern Mountains you will enjoy the Adriatic wheather influence, meaning more sun hours than in the rest of the Salzburg area. As the region is relatively high, higher than 1,000m above sea level, it is very snow certain. There are several skiing areas of which some are reachable within 10 min drive: the Katschberg has 70km ski slopes, the Fanningberg 25km, the Grosseck Speiereck 50km and Obertauern has more than 100km. The Türracher Höhe is also easy to get to. Tamsweg also offers good facilities for cross country skiing, ski touring and winter walking.
Also in summer Tamsweg is worth a visit: there are traditional festivals and a there is a farmers market once per week. The town also has a regional function and therefore has many different shops, restaurants and bars. Outdoorsports are all possible: the Murrad cycling path brings you from the spring of the river to far into Styria and you can take the bus back to the Lungau, there are many walking and hiking paths, rafting, paragliding, horse riding, it is all there. The highest airport of the Alps is located in Mauterndorf. There is an indoor and outdoor pool in Tamsweg, a wunderful golf course in St Michael and it will only take you about 45 min to get to the warm lakes of Carinthia.
The building is progressing fast at the moment, the apartments will be ready for handing over mid 2018. High quality materials are being used, such as window fences with triple glass, heating through air warmth pump in combination with photovoltaik, underfloor heating and wooden parquet floorings in the living and bedrooms. You can choose these and the tiles for the bathroom yourself to make sure your holiday apartment is exactly as you wish. The outside of the building is in modern alpine style. The terraces and gardens are facing south-west and are nice and sunny. The available apartments are all located on the ground floor and have their own garden. A cellar compartment and an underground parking lot belongs to the property. These are included in the price.
These holiday apartments have the so-called Zweitwohnsitz destination. This means that you are allowed to just use the property for your own benefit but you are also allowed to let the place to tourists. However, you are not obliged to do so, you can use it just as you wish.
