In summer, the region has a lot to offer: it is good cycling in the valley or on one of the mountainbike tracks on the mountain. There is a small train connecting all villages in the valley and making it possible to cycle one way and take the train back home. The closest golf course is in Mittersill, there is a swimming lake in Hollersbach, a thermal spa in Kaprun, europes largest waterfalls in Krimml, etc.
