The hotel is located near the Zillertal Arena, the ski area of Hochkrimml - Königsleiten - Gerlos - Zell am Ziller. With 166km ski slopes, 22km of cross country skiing tracks, 40 mountain restaurants and cabins and some toboggan sledge tracks this ski area guarantees a wunderful wintersports. In summer, the Zillertalarena is a great hiking area with many possibilities. Beautiful biking and mountainbike tracks are maintained. The retaining reservoir, at a height of 1,400m above sealevel is attractive for swimming, surfing, sailing and watercycling. Of course the world famous waterfalls of Krimml also attract many tourists in summer. Furthermore, more extreme sports such as mountain climbing and canyoning are also practiced in the area.

The hotel was built in 1962 and was futher expanded later on. Continuous improvements were made which makes that the hotel is in good condition at the moment. Some examples are the installation of an alarm system and modernisation of the fire safety concept by implementing fire resistent doors on each floor. There is a large restaurant seating 160 people and another 100 people on the outdoor terrace. Part of the restaurant has a traditional country style with a lot of wood and authentic austrian details.

There are 13 guest rooms in total, divided into large rooms for 2, 3 or 4 people and apartments for 4 tot 6 people. There are 38 to 51 beds available. Each room has satelite tv, a bathroom with shower of tub and a balcony. Part of the rooms has been modernised with wooden floorings. A fittness room and a sauna are available for your guests. There is also a garden with a children playground. The plot is with more than 2,000sqm large. From the hotel and the garden you will enjoy a magnificient view onto the surrounding mountains. Of course, there is an owners apartment with 2 bedrooms. There are also 4 staff rooms. For the guests, there are plenty parking lots, of which part is with carports.
