Alpine house St Veit im Pongau Salzburg Austria

This alpine cottage is located in the climatic health resort of Salzburg: St Veit im Pongau. Here you can enjoy the real Alps: mountains, beautiful scenery, nature, sports, etc. It is located 15min drive from St Veit. St Veit has an open air swimming pool, in the center you will find several restaurants and shops. The neighboring village Goldegg has a beautiful 18-hole golf course, a small ski resort and a castle. Slopes of the Ski Amade area are a 20 min drive: St Johann Alpendorf (to Flachau and Wagrain), Mühlbach am Hochkönig (Hochkönig ski area). Schwarzach (20min) has an international railway station (also car train). St Johann and Bischofshofen are the places to go shopping and the city of Salzburg is only a 60min drive.

The alpine house was built in 1938. Originally it was used as a farmhouse with stables. In 2006, it was built into a private house and used as such. There are many original details remaining, such as the old wooden floors and ceilings and the traditional austrian tiled stove. The house has synthetic window fences, in a wood optic look so that the fit into the style of the house. There is an infrared sauna and a hot pot outside in the garden. From here, you can relax and enjoy the fantastic views into the surrounding mountains. The garden is well maintained and lovely scaped into an alpine style. Water is coming from an own source. There is a carport and a garden shed.
