Other skiing areas are Obertauern (110km) at 20min drive, Fanningberg (25km) at 10min drive and Aineck-Katschberg (70km) at 10min drive. Due to the altitude of the Lungau, it is perfect for cross country skiing, there are many tracks. The other villages of the Lungau (St Michael, Tamsweg) are also worth a visit. Also within reach are the lakes of Carinthia or the city of Mozart: Salzburg.
