Winter walking and cross country skiing is also part of winter fun in the Oberpinzgau valley. Other skiing areas in the surroundings are those of Gerlos/Königsleiten and Hollersbach/Kitzbühel, both within 15min drive from Neukirchen.

The bus to the town centre of Neukirchen and Wald im Pinzgau stops directly in front of the house. Shops and ski lifts are within reach. Neukirchen has a nice and cosy centre with restaurants, bars and shops. The apartmenthouse is located at a sunny spot and offers great views into the mountains. In summer the area is great for walking, cycling, visiting the largest waterfall of Austria in Krimml, taking a daytour to Zell am See or to Salzburg, etc..

The house is heated through oil and there are 2 austrian stoves (kachelofen) at the ground and first floor. There is a sun terrace and the garden will offer you and your guests many relaxing hours in this great mountain area.
