House Katschberg St Michael im Lungau Salzburgerland

This detached house is located at walking distance of the ski slopes, at a central location in the skiing area Katschberg: far away from the daily stress! Katschberg is located at 1600m above sealevel and belongs partly to St Michael im Lungau and partly to Rennweg. In winter, Katschberg turns into Winterwonderland: 70km slopes in a snowcertain skiing area, cross country skiing, toboggan and great winter hikes in the unspoiled nature. Several hotels, restaurants, pubs and sport shops are at walking distance of the house. St Michael im Lungau with some supermarkets and a variety of shops is approx 15min drive. You can get there with either skibus or car. In summer Katschberg is a paradise for walking and nature lovers. The first lakes of Carinthia are at only 20min from the house, so is Spittal am Drau for shopping. The Lungau (15min drive) has a wonderful 27-holes golf course, several swimming pools, many walking and cycling paths and some nice traditional austrian villages with a diversity of shops.

The house was built in 1985 and has been well maintained since. It has a traditional austrian look and feel due to the use of wood: wooden window fences, wooden ceilings and part of the walls has also been covered with wood. The austrian stove (Kachelofen) completes the interior with its comfortable heat. There is a small sauna cottage in the garden, including an extra small place to sleep. The garden offers great views into the valley and the surrounding mountains. There is also a shed where garden equipment and skies can be stored. The house will be sold including complete furniture.
